Looking for land to build your dream home? We know it's hard finding space close to the city that has all the things you're hoping for but look no further because we've found it for you. We are currently building in Summit Springs and we just LOVE this area. Check out why we think it's a great place to live.
Summit Springs is a premier gated ranch community with 860 acres of lots and custom homes and spectacular Hill Country views. 230 lots range from 2 to 10 acres, with most lots measuring approximately 3 acres. With over 50 custom homes completed, new construction is on-going as land owners make their plans to settle in the Hill Country.
Location
Set just 30 miles west of Austin and 10 miles south of Marble Falls, TX. Southern Burnet County near Spicewood offers the best of the Texas hill country with unlimited recreational opportunities and a short commute to Austin.
Summit Springs offers seclusion with quick access to Marble Falls and Spicewood attractions and a new Baylor Scott & White Medical Facility.
Entertainment & Restaurants
Be sure to visit Opie's BBQ, Spicewood Vineyards, Flat Creek Enoteca wood-fired grill, iconic Bluebonnet Cafe, Double Horn Brewing Company, Birdie's House of Design, and many more local discoveries.
Recreational destinations include Johnson Park, Lakes Marble Falls and LBJ, Longhorn Cavern, Hidden Falls Adventure Park, Balcones Canyonlands and numerous scenic golf courses. Additional high-end shopping & dining opportunities are 30 minutes east in Bee Cave, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about an hour away.
Utilities
Summit Springs features underground utilities and a central water supply so you will not need to drill a well. Reasonable restrictions allow a variety of building types, including barndominiums.
Property Taxes
2017 Burnet CAD property taxes were $536.92. The property currently receives a 1d1 open space agricultural tax valuation (ag exemption) for exotic wildlife.
Wildlife
The entire neighborhood enjoys Ag exempt property taxes, which are maintained through the free-ranging Blackbuck antelope that roam within the subdivision. Whitetail deer, migratory and resident songbirds, mourning dove and other non-game species are regularly observed on the property.
